Ariel's Story
In 2024, we found Ariel dragging her shattered body around a gas station. Her legs were raw with open wounds, and she was emaciated from blood parasites and starvation. Likely hit by a car and abandoned to suffer, she was fighting for every breath. We drove hundreds of kilometers to bring this warrior to safety. Ariel has crushed her rehabilitation, regaining enough mobility to stand and take wobbly steps - though she scoots around indoors like a pro. Her paralysis left her incontinent, so she wears diapers daily with grace and dignity. Now living in a sponsored special care home, Ariel is surrounded by love and comfort. She's a total champion who deserves every bit of care she receives.
