Dino's Story
Five years ago, Dino was found close to death, lying in a swamp with horrific rear leg injuries - his foot was literally hanging off. We learned he had been hit by a car months earlier, and his owner had left him to drag his broken body around until he reached this terrible state. Double rear leg amputation was the only option to save his life. Dino spent weeks in intensive care battling septicemia from his infected wounds and needed a blood transfusion to survive. Against all odds, this fighter pulled through. Today, Dino is strong, healthy, and full of joy. He's proof that dogs don't dwell on what they've lost - they celebrate what they have. He lives happily in his special foster home, needing just a little extra care and a lot of love.
